Large-format printing capacity
The machine is designed for massive 3D prints up to 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm. That build space supports full-scale prototypes, oversized design models, and complex geometries that exceed the limits of smaller desktop systems.
Fibre-ready Power Extruder with interchangeable nozzles
The BigRep ONE includes one BigRep fibre-ready Power Extruder (PEX). Interchangeable 0.6 mm, 1.0 mm, and 2.0 mm nozzles allow the printer to be set up either for finer detail or for high-flow additive manufacturing.
Heated print bed with semi-automatic levelling
The heated print bed uses a polyimide foil coating to support adhesion throughout the printing process. An integrated inductive sensor enables semi-automatic print bed levelling, helping streamline calibration and support consistent output.
Accessible frame design and optional enclosure
The open frame allows unobstructed print monitoring and access to the print bed from three sides. This layout makes it easier to inspect print quality and progress during large-format jobs.
The optional enclosure add-on adds a more constant printing environment and CE-compliant operator protection. The transparent housing also includes a safety concept with automatic door sensors.
Filament handling for long print jobs
The redesigned filament enclosure fits all standard spool sizes, including two spools up to 8 kg. An out-of-filament sensor pauses a print when a spool runs empty, which is especially useful during very large builds.
The optional Keep-Dry Box protects filament from dust and moisture, which is particularly useful for materials that are sensitive to humidity.
Touch panel controls and remote monitoring features
An intuitive graphical user interface on the touch panel PC provides access to remote load functions, print parameter changes, webcam-based progress checks, and resume-after-power-failure capability.
The optional Camera Add-On allows print monitoring via webcam from a computer or mobile device.
Extruder configurations and modular add-ons
The BigRep ONE can be configured in single, dual, or twin extruder modes. This modular approach allows the system to be matched to current production needs and expanded later as workflows evolve.

A single-extruder configuration provides a robust, lower-complexity setup that is well suited to users starting with large-format printing. In this mode, one extruder can be used for both model and support material.
Expanding to a dual-extruder setup adds the ability to use water-soluble support filament and to combine two filaments with different mechanical properties. This can improve surface quality and support more complex applications.
Twin extruder mode is designed to increase output by printing two identical parts simultaneously. This configuration is described as doubling production and reducing cost and time-to-part by 50%.
