Carbon Fiber - Standard ABS Filament - 1.75mm, 1kg
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) Filament
ABS is the original filament for home 3D printing, known for its durability and versatility. To achieve the best results, ABS requires a heated bed and, ideally, an enclosed printing environment to maintain stable temperatures.
Heat Resistance:
ABS is renowned for its higher resistance to heat, with a softening point around 105ºC. This makes it an excellent choice for 3D printed objects intended for outdoor use or applications exposed to higher temperatures.
Considerations:
One downside to printing with ABS is the strong odor it emits during printing. While it doesn't bother most users, some may find it unpleasant, especially in confined spaces. For this reason, we recommend printing in a well-ventilated area.
Recommended Settings:
- Nozzle Temperature: 190-260℃
- Bed Temperature: 80-100℃
ABS filament is a reliable choice for projects requiring strength and heat resistance.
