The Modix BIG-180X is an extra-wide 3D printer built for producing large parts in a single piece. Its 1,800 × 600 × 660 mm build volume supports big models, automotive parts, moulds, furniture and architectural models without gluing.

Generation 5 adds Duet 3 electronics, CAN bus print heads, Ethernet, a removable Wi-Fi dongle and a new touchscreen to the modular platform.

The BIG-180X suits professional workflows that need large-format output, including automotive components, moulds, furniture pieces and architectural models. The self-assembly kit includes guided online manual and live support, and the printer uses 1.75 mm filament with a single Griffin extruder as standard.

For teams that need integrated control and calibration, the BIG-180X includes 4 individually controlled Z motors, automatic bed tilt calibration and 100-point bed levelling. The printer also includes 12 months of warranty and lifetime support, excluding degradable items and consumables.
