Good product. The only down side the way the firmware was programed you have to be present when the filament runs out, because all temperature shut down the nozzle and the bed. I lost 2 big print because the filament run out during the night. I contacted the company to tell me that there is noting to do the only work around is to use clip so your print doesn't unstick or to slow down the speed to make it through the night. I'm sur the is a work around to do in the firmware they did not want to tell me .
Super facile à monter. Presque pas d'ajuster à faire. On peut dire que c'est une redy to printing. Un service Super rapide.
(this is a simple use guide)
absolutely requires an enclosure to function you have to take it apart and put it back together (but I mean it's a 3d printer that's sorta basic you will never get It right first try). be careful when building that you don't break the 6pin connectors I did but got lucky and just bent the pins in place. I scratched my bed by accidentally starting low, make sure to start high when levelling.
bltouch, if you have never used bltouch it tells you how far the bed is from the nozzle from different points on the bed. use zhome to set the z height for printing (remember to set it a little low then use the setting while printing to raize it also z- raises the bed z+ lowers it this setting saves for future prints).
the filaments sensor is really finicky and hard to use I would only recommend it around the last 100g on your nozzle, or if you don't change filaments often or at all do it the one time and move on. (ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THE STANDARD FILAMENT I TRIED IT AND IT BROKE IN THE BOWDEN TUBE, CLOGGED THE NOZZLE, AND WAS A GENERAL PAIN IN THE ASS).
don't mod it until about 50 hrs of printing total and at least 20 hrs of printing on the printer unless you know what you're doing because diagnosis is a bitch when you have no clue how the printer works or what has failed in the past when you had an entire sub ready to support you because now you're on your own.
the nozzle provided in the printer is not a 0.4mm nozzle i don't know what it is but not 0.4mm.
now enjoy your colossal 3d printer its is amazing once setup is done
Works well. Was assembled incorrectly at the factory and I did need to fix a broken corner bracket (luckally I already had an ender 3 and could print a new one). 3d printing canada responded quickly but the issue was solved without there help. That's why you should buy here and not Amazon....accountability. While I didn't need there help in the end, it was nice to see they were going to stand behind the products they sell.
The ender 5 took a while to dial in but after a few attempts is printing PETG solid parts like a champ. I use it to print industral PETG parts for a brewey. We recently changed bottle types and needed all new plastics (Star wheels, worm gears etc..) The quote from the manufacturer was 15k.....we did it all with this printer for 2k. materials and printer included. It's been running for about 500 hours at 250 degrees, no issues yet. There's a lot of people saying the bowden tube breaks down at 240, perhaps that's true, but I haven't seen it. I've had my ender 3 with the stock bowden tube running for 1000+ hours printing PETG at 250 with no issue as well. Overall a good printer for the money.
This printer is a beast. With a very large print envelop you can print just about anything you want and with its heated bed, allows you to print with multiple materials. This printer is also an exercise in patience as the documentation that comes with the printer is minimal to say the least.
You will need to familiarize yourself with both the printer and slicing program to get desirable prints. You will also need to watch a few videos on how to use this printer and properly level it. The auto leveling function on the printer is bugged so only use it when initially leveling the printer than turn it off for regular printing. Make sure that you level the bed in the proper order or you will have a very frustrating time getting it to print properly. This printer also has a setting called economy mode which turns off the printer bed after the first few layers adhere to the print surface. I have no idea why this setting exists as the heated print bed is what maintains print bed adhesion and turning it off will result in prints de laminating from the print bed. The filament sensor is also near defective as its internals often fail to detect filament. I have solved this problem by bypassing the filament sensor all together and just making sure I have enough filament for the print.
Other than that it is a very simple printer that takes love and attention but can produce high quality prints for a relatively low cost. Just remember this is a hobbyist printer not a plug and play. You will need to be patient and become knowledgeable about your printer and slicer program to maintain the quality of your prints.
Final thoughts. The printer enables to user to make just about any 3D print they desire at a low cost but has its problems that you will need to solve. If you have patience and treat it well this will print whatever you need.
Had a problem with the new printer setting up
but with the help of the amazing staff, they fixed the problem and it works
great thanks guys
3D Printing Canada you guys are great
Très bon produit
Je conseille cette imprimante à tous meme comme première imprimante
Très facile à customiser

Fantastic printer, definitely is better with the silent board. The build size is great, but the front bar is placed right where you need to see the nozzle and bed so it can make it cumbersome at the beginning, but still works great.
I plan to buy a second one.
Printed fine initially(a few multi day prints) but then started under extruding. Changed out bowden to capricorn, replaced stock struder with Microswiss, ABL offset, E-steps, stepper drivers, and z-screw all needed calibration. M200 D 0 needed to turn off volumetric(nothing can be done with touch screen, you have to do everything firmware related with pronterface). Turns out the filament tension arm was microscopically fractured by the brass inset nut.I replaced it with an aluminium one. This was what caused all my under extruding problems, but just as well because it forced me to correct a number of other issues by discovery. Also, it only reads card files with less than 15 characters in the title, so be prepared to rename everything! But once you work the kinks out, its a fine printer.
Love my Ender 5P, print like a champ!
this printer was great and easy to set up. It has a large print area for a good price. the noise is quite loud but there is a upgrade available so I think I will try that in the future. but for the build size this printers price this is well worth it.
Needs a few upgrades out of the box, but with a direct drive microswiss extruder, you've got an ultra high end machine for $1000.
Instead of investing in my older 3D printers, I decided to purchase this printer. My choice was based on research and help from the staff at the store.
Set up is pretty easy as long as you watch the video (the instructions included in the box are terrible). I had some horrible starts to printing but the staff at 3D Printing Canada helped me upgrade the tubing and connectors to deal with the issue. Once it is levelled, the printer is pretty stable. Good choice as long as you ask questions and do the upgrades.
overall the build process went fine some hiccups here and there. The filament run out sensor has issues unless the filament is perfectly straight and takes some "encouragement" to get through the sensor and extruder into the bowden.
first test prints seem fine.
Kind of wished creality included the silent board with this printer considering the price.
But so far i have been pleased with it.
Very solid printer. Only issue was I received mine with a pretty badly warped hotbed and glass plate and a broken blade on the heat sink fan. Jason did a good job helping me try to resolve the bed leveling issues via tech support(in spite of some lost emails) and offered to replace the fan. The bed leveling is better (not great) but no fan. When I emailed twice about the replacement fan, no response. Very disappointed. If not for these two issues the printer would have been 5 stars no contest.
Great service and fast delivery!
Prise en main rapide a l'aide du logiciel Cura.
Easy to assemble, easy to level, and working great right out of the box. Strangely enough, this thing prints better than my Prusa MK2S does right now. Impressive feat!
Your service was excellent. Received less than 48 hours after ordering. Packaging is outstanding and assembly was simple. First prints were very good also. I have an Ender 5S which is relatively silent by comparison so it is a mystery why they would step backward here as this is a very noisy machine. That would be less of an issue except the large format gives potential for longer print-times and can be distracting if you don't have an isolated work area. If you like the cube fame design and want a huge print volume, that issue ca be addressed if desired.
