The Most Economically Priced PLA with Great Results!
Canada's most popular economy-grade PLA filament is back by popular demand. Value PLA is a biodegradable PLA filament finely tuned for your everyday 3d printing needs. Not only is it a cost-effective filament it is made in Europe for superior quality over other lower-end PLA filaments on the market. Value PLA continues to impress even the most critical users with its impeccable quality and ease of use.

Filament arrived very quickly, faster than expected and after doing a few small prints the quality is very good. It's nice to have a 3D printing place so close to where I live where I can easily buy this kind of stuff, will definitely be buying this again in the future.
Richard R.
Hey something must have happened with your product, the spool is less tight and works more smoothly. Thank you
Frederic D.
Bonne qualité, mais j'ai remarqué qu'il est préférable de l'imprimer avec une buse de 0.6mm!
Alain L.
Good plastic !
Mitchell B.
Material print good for its price point.
Will K.
First filament purchase so nothing to reference to but so far, so good.
Remi P.
Work well ! easy to print and the quality is stable between roll !
Robert M.
Love the PLA works like a charm for me
Scott W.
Looks and prints well!

Some of the worst filament I've ever used, and I've used a few different brands of budget filament. Opened this spool recently as I finished with a different brand of filament. The spool has inconsistencies when measuring with calipers. Photo is of one of the more visible ones. Spool keeps on getting tangled over itself (Badly winded spool). A few times the filament would overlap over itself on the spool causing jams. First time I've encountered this issue.
Peter C.
Works as expected. . .
Dan P.
This filament printed smoothly. I would buy it again. First project was a case for a Le Strum midi synthesizer kit from six4pix.net the file was from thingiverse thing:655713
Nice dark black with a great shine.
Matthew T.
For a value PLA I was first expecting a cheap quality of recycled material. It prints just like regular pla and has no major downsides. I will definitely be buying more from these guys.
Was going to do the temp tower with it to find what works best but just stuck with my default profile of 225⁰c for first layer then 205⁰c for the rest and haven't had any issues with the PLA, definitely wanting more colors though I already bought the value black pla, standard Petg and a red PLA and they all print perfectly. Can't wait for more colors to come in
Jason W.
The value PLA prints totally amazing. Haven't had any bad results worth it for the variety of colors they have in the value style. PLA If you're on a budget and you need to print something quick, the value PLA is your best option for the price
Richard R.
So far it works just as good as the white.
Matthias J.
I use the PLA in black/green/blue/white, etc. to make toys for my wife's daycare. I find it prints well and bonds solidly to my 3DPC Carbon Fibre build plate.
Leo J.
At first, I was quite frustrated when trying to print with this and I put it away, meaning to contact the store for advice. It just wasn't adhering. I decided to try it again with my Malyan M320's bed temperature at 80, nozzle at 230 and for the first time, I reduced the print speed to 25 mm/s (40 mm/s in the past was disastrous). It works very well at these settings with no stringing so far. I'm trying a more complex print right now.
Arley H.
Was not a consistent size plugged my nozzle on several occasions.
John .
The filament works very well for me and I use it on four differnt printers
Martin T.
Prints fine and layers stick together well.

Nice deep black! In the photo is the Value PLA black, with 3DP's Standard PLA black sandwiched in between them. That Standard PLA looks positively grey when lined up next to the Value PLA's black. It's also glossier, if that's what you are after.
CHAD J.
Very easy to work with. So far I've found all the 3DPC house brands are great. So far I've only used this a few times. Such as this base. The 5.0 was with 3DPC silver PLA.
Terry C.
The value PLA I purchased from 3d printing Canada, is very poorly wound and tangled on the spool so it constantly snags as the extruder pulls the filament off the spool. Ran a 3d print job yesterday and as the extruder was pulling on the filament it snagged on the spool and snapped and broke right-off. So now in order to use this value PLA requires babysitting the 3d print job constantly unsnagging the filament as it unwinds from the spool. You shouldn't be selling the value PLA to anyone due to this problem. It is annoying and problematic and would love to return it for a refund including shipping costs for all my trouble as a first-time new customer. Once the filament makes past the extruder seems to print ok, its just trying to get the filament off the spool without snagging is a real pain in the butt.
Sean S.
A stable as a table workhorse black filament is hard to find being this affordable, not even going to try looking for anything else.
Oliver O.
I don't know why it's still so difficult for some companies to roll their filament up properly. It's not rocket science, FIGURE IT OUT. My machine was starved of filament because the idiots who designed the manufacturing process allowed the filament to cross over itself, thus not feeding. Avoid this garbage.
johann v.
The Material is okay, got it to print most prints but what really put me off is the spooling. I had two prints fail because the filament jammed in the roll due to the roll not being properly spooled. really annoying and wont buy this again because of it
Jack K.
No issues wat's so ever. Place the filament in my machine and print away.
james B.
If it doesn't clog my .6 tip it prints good. But it clogs often. 3 of 4 rolls
Kevin F.
I found I can't print as fast with it as the previous value PLA, meaning I have to up the temperature resulting in more stringing. It's definitely not a deal breaker and for the price, I can't really complain!
Johnny G.
Inconsistent, I've ordered several batch of those but they aren't the same filament each time, I've got good and bad spools, better to pay a little more and get consistency.
RYAN C.
Very poor layer adhesion and highly visible layer lines. I couldn't get this filament to print well and I've never had an issue with any other filament. Trying to get a refund as I bought 3 rolls of this. I will spend a bit more in the future.
Bastiaan V.
I love the slightly matte texture on the finished parts, but I've had a really challenging time getting it to print consistently.
Yann F.
Très satisfait du résultat
james B.
Changing temperature from 210, 215, 220 I could not get the layers to bond and they just pull apart
Chris M.
I've been using 3D Printing Canada's Value line PLA filament for a while now. Since everyone's nasty cousin COVID has shown up I haven't had much time to reorder filament. I bought two rolls one BLACK one ORANGE and just ran out of my roll on the printer. So I happily replaced it with the Value Line PLA black I just bought.
I can't get this stuff to stick to the bed at all, I'm suspecting it's moisture in the filament which I will try and remove. I dropped another Value line (older roll on the printer) and started the same print no adjustments and it stuck perfectly.
I'll hold my opinion until A] I've tried the orange roll, and B] tried the roll to see if it helps. Even so I can't take the chance I have to dry the rolls after purchase so it may be the end of my value line purchases. Only other possible thing is that the filament if different then the old Value Line. Don't know if I can update this review later, but If I can I will update after I get a chance dry for a day or two.
Glenn P.
I'm still waiting on my printer to arrive.
Jean P.
Bon filament ceci imprimer avec volcano Hemera buse 0.6 mm.
Ollie M.
I had been buying this for a years but my last batch of 8 rolls so far 5 of them have blocked everyone of my five machines....
quality has gone down the hole.
Now using my other supplier filiments.ca for all filament needs...
This has really annoyed me..
Leslie W.
I am building a CNC router and was able to print this router mount. Great quality and fits perfect!!
Cody S.
Almost a 200 hour print and two rolls used. Zero issues throughout print after first 25mm. (Roll swap from other brand)
cody s.
Prints like butter! I tell this to everyone anyone willing to listen. Very inexpensive compared to other brands and is just good!
Mitchell E.
Great PLA for the price. Print at 210-220 and the result is just as good as anything else.
kevin d.
Easy to print love it !!!!
Claude P.
Print's great!
Allen W.
It’s ok for simple shapes but anything complex this stuff does t hold up well
Marc M.
I know, the photo is for a fairly basic structural piece, but it saved my arm that serves as support for my OctoPi unit next to the printer. Your PLA prints very nicely thank you very much!
John -.
Great product. Fast shipping!
David B.
Extremely good filament. Price is right and gives high quality results. Have already gone through the spool and am buying more. Just wish there we more variety in available colours for the same price but either way great filament!
marc-andre l.
Works well and prints fabulously.
Jake W.
Easy to print with. Works well
Matthias J.
I used it to make lots of puzzle boxes for my wife's daycare. I never had any problems with it. I've since ordered more. This is my go-to black.
Joshua M.
Absolutely love the way this blank PLA prints. Has more of a Matter finish than a lot of similar brands which I like a lot.
Ollie M.
Excellent print quality at an awesome price, please keep it in stock !
Charlie G.
Printed without a glitch, stuck perfectly to bed and no stringing of any kind. Perfect for a tester pla.
John R.
Value PLA is everything I need for a low price. Hard to beat.
Christian V.
Thank you
I buy my filament from you, always have good success with my prints.
Since COVID I order from the web site, the shipping is good.
Thank you again
Happy new year
Martin L.
Gives excellent result at 220 on an ender 3 V2. No ringing and at this temperature, the printed parts are very solid. I'm amazed about the temperature range we can print with this PLA.
Leo J.
Initially, I had a bit of trouble with this filament, however I'm very new to 3D printing so the problems that I had may be my fault. This filament seems to like higher temperatures and maybe lower printing speeds. I had adhesion problems when I tried extra fine prints (0.06 mm layer height) with 100% infill. I tried a few 0.2 mm layer height prints with about 30% infill and they were quite good.
Andrew D.
Absolutely amazing filament.
Joe T.
Very good filament to work with and has good color.
Lee
Black value prints well at 210 nozzle and 60 bed.
Phu N.
The PLA prints well. My only issue is bed adhesion. I'm using a glass bed on an Ender 3 and get some warping. With other economic filament from competitor, I never run into that issue.
The recommended bed temperature is way off. At first I tried the recommended 60c (60c to 80c) and the print would warp every time.
You can see in the picture the one I printed at 47c in the front vs the one I printed at 65c in the back.
michael y.
Prints easy. Great adhesion. Needed to dry before use because the plastic it was sent in had holes in it
Bret R.
Brand new to 3d printing. Got this for my Ender 3 v2. No issues and good prints even though I am still learning.
