Bridge was given this name because it combined(bridged) the strength of nylon filament with the price of PLA and ABS filaments. It used for manufacturing of any parts or designs which require the strength of nylon, yet are prone to pulling away from the print bed at sharp transitions. Bridge carries the same flexibility as 645 and a slippery surface texture on all perimeters.
It has some amazing features which make it one of the most popular 3D printing materials on our website. It is lower in price than other nylons but has the same slippery texture which made adhering to the printing platform difficult. We recommend using our extremely low cost “Elmer’s Glue-All” to resolve this issue.
Bridge is a high-quality run polymer which has reduced water uptake and shrinkage. It needs little to no drying in the winters and only needs to be warmed in the summer months.
