New to 3D printing. Bed leveling is very important. Print out the cantilever bed supports they suggest, comes with plenty of stock filament to make both arms with (and more parts). I cannot make a comparison to other 3D printers. Not a huge fan of the textured bed, but I haven't tried out the glass bed to compare. I just have slightly indented the removable magnetic sheet trying to get off stuck parts. When setting up, the power selection was not 120. Assembly was not difficult. Noise is low and not bothersome during the day, but if it's in your room at night, it may annoy you. Purchased for 500$ early Jan. 2021.

Cant say enough about the team at this company! Cheers and thank you for all the help.

Absolutely love this printer! It is exactly as advertised, prints great. Shipping was fast. When I contacted the seller, they responded quickly with the information I needed. The filament that I ordered is of good quality meeting my printing needs perfectly. I will definitely do business with 3D Printers again and highly recommend them to anybody looking to purchase a 3D Printer.

I’ve had the printer about 3 weeks now and have had excellent results. The Ender 5 Pro is pretty simple to set up and easy to use. I have found getting a high quality filament really makes the difference. I’m using Hatchbox filament and find it to work really well compared to other brands I’ve tried. I have had to make only minor slicer setting adjustments and think I’m getting great results. I am sure there are other printers out there that are making higher quality prints and faster, but for the price this printer really is doing excellent quality prints. Also the print bed is a nice size.

Had to do lots of calibration and modification to it. Ince that was done it is the best. I love it.

First time using a 3d printer. Was easy to assemble. Easy to understand instructions. Printing gears for a childs toy was a breeze. Downloaded Fusion 360 and designed all the parts. The printer comes with a program that converts Fusion 360's stl file into a g-force file that the printer reads. Im not a computer geek by no means but here i am, designing toy parts and printing gears that mesh with high precision.

Great printer, with some fixes. Arrived damage, but managed to repair it(bent bearing mount on top), works great out of the box! Tons of upgrades and mods available anywhere to make a few improvements. All in all, great investment!

Working fantastic, 1 small issue is the Ender 5 Pro's Spring is a little too long/tense (opposite issue from the non-pro) and will cause under-extrusion from deforming filaments specially softer PLA or PLA that has more friction in the Bowden tube. So cutting off 1 loop of this spring fixes this, else everything has been peachy.
Prints at very high quality, was incredibly easy to assemble.

When a purchase for another 3D printer from outside Canada got cancelled I found 3D Printing Canada had what I needed and with local pickup! Within a day after ordering I was able to meet the great staff and pickup my Ender 5. It’s been a great learning experience and the Ender 5 itself has been a great machine so far. Very happy with my purchase.

I'm brand new to 3d printing and this machine is doing great for me so far. I'm still learning from each print and enjoying it. The shipping was unbelievably fast even if there wasn't an ongoing pandemic and 3dprintingcanada's customer service is fantastic.

A few dollars cheaper than buying directly from China and it was in stock. I bought in the evening and picked it up the next day. Overall a great deal.

Great printer had it running in an hour incredible print quality, instructions unclear and power supply had the voltage wrong, other than that it is a awesome printer, 3D printing Canada is super helpful got my other homemade printer running as well.

Fantastic machine with very good quality prints. It has taken some tinkering to get consistently good prints with certain filaments, but it was great fun and all part of the hobby. Learning more each time and making great parts.

After a shipping nightmare (nothing to do with 3D Printing Canada!), recovering from that and 2 hours after cutting open the box, this Benchy is the first print off the machine. It is incredibly close to perfect with the PLA that came in the box.
The 2 hours setup was because I checked everything. The frame is dead square. All the hardware was tight, except one missing screw on the hotend fan, but I have tons of M3x6 button heads (it has titanium ones on it now, lol). And I took almost an hour to level the bed. Take your time here as it's a bit finicky. I needed to add a long strip of paper about 60-70mm wide and the full length of the bed between the bed magnet and the removable sheet. Also take your time to setup the Z-stop screw. This will give easier leveling and very repeatable results.
A great experience to deal with the nice folks at 3D Printing Canada. They understand our nerding out and fully support it!

I have two of these and they are work horses! I typically do 36 hour prints and recently did 4 prints back to back without any issues. Mind you I replace all Creality hot ends with Micro Swiss or similar all metal clones, and I prefer the glass bed. I am not certain why this version is being called a "pro" as it only has a $17 metal extruder driver as an upgrade and $5 of better bowden tube. A stock ender 5 is being advertised by Creality for CDN $450 vs the $599 here, and it is the same save for the above mention additions. Package it with a glass bed, all metal hotend, a tube of magigoo, and maybe a bed auto levelling system all set up, then you can use the word pro.

As a long time Prusa user I had strong reservations about a product that is almost 50% cheaper but I have since ordered 2 more of these and would recommend them to anyone

great product fast shipping 3dprinting canada its the place to buy !!!!

Printer was great, but note that apparently the newer Ender 5 models use an 800 step/mm motor instead of a 400 step/mm as in the firmware.
Avoid the hassle and calibrate z before you try to print anything. I had to do a rough calibration on the z with a caliper by just moving the stage (no printing) in order to even make a reasonable first print of a calibration cube.

my first choice was an Ender 3 but do to stock, I ended up with the Ender 5 Pro. This was easy to assemble and comes with white roll of PLA, it was enough to print a sample found on the SD card. Tools needed to get started is use Creality software found on the SD card has most of the basic stuff to get going. Biggest problem to start is print bed get dialed in. Using a sheet of paper, print a 3D STL, then retest nozzle and print bed. Print speed is great, slice times for printing are pretty close. If you print over night, place a fire alarm near by just in case.

This printer is pretty decent. The stock setup however didn't really work well. The Capricorn tube that it came with is a little to tight of and ID as compared to the OD of the filament. I found that the extruder would re-shape the filament into a size that would no longer fit in to the Bowden tube and so I would get jams. Jams in the Bowden tube no the extruder. I had also purchased a micro swiss direct drive for the printer and with that this thing is awesome. That direct setup is a must with this printer.

Very happy with the printer and with 3D Printing Canada as well. This is my first 3D printer and I'm so glad that all those hours of researching and watching 3D printer videos on YouTube seem to have paid off.

Seriously awesome machine and company to deal with!
I decided on an Ender 5 Pro from 3D Printing Canada after receiving 2 defective printers from a different brand and supplier.
The Ender 5 pro is costs not much more than the other machines I had purchased (Mega S) and I would say its easily worth double! The Ender 5 Pro assembles in minutes, its frame is way stronger and much more stable, but the sound difference between the two machines is incredible! I literally forget the Ender 5 pro is on when in the same room and with the other machine I couldn't print over night as it was way too loud. I know I could have added stepper silencers and all to make it a decent machine, but the Ender 5 Pro has it all already! Aluminum extruder, Capricorn bowden tube, etc...
Buy the Ender 5 Pro, I promise you will be happy with your decision!
When I bought mine I ordered it with the Official Creality Silicon Carbon Build Surface Tempered Glass Plate and SO happy that I did! That plate is super level and adheres and releases like magic! I would definitely recommend buying it at the same time to assure the best printing experience!

easy to install and after first calibrate, never more needed. Magnetic bed is soo easy to use.
Julie G.
Great printer easy to assemble and to use. Only one small issue the power supply switch was set to 230 instead of 115.
Raymond H.
Easily assembled and ready to print in half an hour.
Purchasing and delivery were an effortless process.
Outstanding results so far. I highly recommend the printer, and 3d Print Canada
Thank you

An excellent (and large-format) printer that is worth every penny!
While the magnetic print bed is great for getting prints off, I think that a glass bed on a silicone thermal pad would have been a better choice as the aluminum bed on my printer is a bit warped in the middle. All that said, the magnetic pad works well enough and a glass bed is an easy and cheap upgrade for the not-too-distant future!
