A product I was familiar with, shipped quickly at a fair price

I could not find a replacement feed gear for my old lathe. So I made from this filament for a test. To my surprise the gear is working and still holding up. I was surprised how easy it was to print since I never printed nylon before. And love how it came out. It is quite strong. I made sure to put in my dryer for 24 hours before print. It was printed on an anycubic mega s without inclosure. I have Updated the print head to a titan direct drive.

Fred 2021-11-09 I am using a creator pro first generation with all-metal hot end. 255 C nozzle temp and 90 bed temp. I have a glass plate with blue painters tape applied. Getting excellent bed adhesion. That isn't a problem. Out of 5 attempts to print a simple thin walled tubular artifact with a sligtht flare at the upper end, I had one semi-successful print. At first I was using supports to hold up the flare at the top of the 3/4" tall by 5/8" dia piece wit ha flare to about 7/8" at the top. About a 1/4" up, twice the machine appeared to have trouble squeezing out the filament - it just stopped printing. I printed once with a raft but no support and it printed but the 45 degree flare was a bit messy without supports. I have printed this piece fine with pure PETG, but I have to stick it into the top of my car radiator which runs at up to 120C and PETG turns into jelly at that temperature. Really want this stuff to work but its just not cooperating with my printer.

Printed this on my Prusa Mk3 at 260 degrees nozzle and 70 degrees bed temperature. I dried the filament before printing and used an enclosure. Very pleased with the quality. This picture does no justice to the finish. It is actually much smoother than it looks. This was printed with 0.2mm layer height and 0.6mm nozzle. Great value at $59.00 per 1 Kg.
