I watched a video on how they produce filament: in this video they explained that two PLA filaments (same brand, same manufacturer) can have different melting points and characteristics because of the pigments used. This is true of 3D Printing Canada Standard PLA. I previously reviewed the black and enjoyed how easy it was to work with. My first test with the gray was a mess. Although my temp tower test showed 200° was the optimum temperature, I still had to reduce the print speed for good results (the default print speed in Cura for a Creality Ender 3 v3 SE is 180 mm/s). With a bed temperature of 60° and printing speed of 100 mm/s, my prints in gray are good quality.

The filament did the job,but twice the filament snapped

Very easy to use, I had a friend that gave Me advice on which parameters to use in order to have a good print. As long as your printhead and your bed are setup correctly, print with this filament is very good.

I love this filament! It is my go to for various fine farm model parts that I print. It is so easy to dial in to your printer, I usually run it 200-205 at the nozzle on my Ender 3's with a bed of 55.
Great adhesion and sharp details and layers are perfect! It is not overly sensitive to humidity like some brands and I love the way that supports separate so easily from the model with minimal marks.
I use this in Grey, Black, Blue, Yellow and Green and can not say enough good things about this Standard filament.

I run through about 5 rolls of this PLA a month, through my Ender 3.
This PLA has a very forgiving temperature point. I run it at 208 °C with the bed at 70°C.
Print quality is great for the price, strong durable prints with good details, printing at .18mm. Stringing isnt much of an issue nor is breakage.
I have yet to have any issues with any rolls of this brand and I intend to keep using this for the majority of my printing.
