Creality Ender-6 FDM 3D Printer

In terms of size, the Ender-6's 3d printer build volume of 250 x 250 x 400 mm puts it right between an Ender-5 Pro (220 x 220 x 300 mm) and the CR-10 series, which starts at 300 x 300 x 400 mm. This should suffice for the majority of your daily print jobs.

Ender-6 DM 3D Printer Features

Ultra Silence Guaranteed by Imported TMC2208 Chip: Creality Ender-6 is custom-built with an ultra-silent Germany-imported TMC motion controller, enabling the printing process won't make any noise. **

In fact, the TMC-2208 motherboard always ensures smooth movement under 50dB.

Carborundum glass platform: With its superiority in heat resistance and thermal conductivity, the Carborundum glass platform heats up quicker and the prints adhere better. Ultra smoothness even on the first layer.

Filament Runout Sensor: Whenever there is a possible accident like filament runout or filament breakage, the smart sensor makes the machine suspend printing for resume print after new filament feeds in.

Resume Printing Function: The machine can automatically resume printing after power-off or filament breakage. No worries about print failure. All Ease in

All Ease in Assembly and Maintenance: Creality Ender-6 is an out-of-box machine with all wires neatly arranged in order. Hassle-free in Assembly, Hassle-free in maintenance.

4.3in HD screen: When operating on the 6th version UI system, all information needed to know including print process, function overview, and parameter settings, is clearly displayed on the 4.3-in colour touch screen.

Larger Rotary Knob: To make it easier for bed levelling, the large rotary knobs will be your best assistants, saving your time and energy.

Before you buy, do your research - look at Reddit forums for this printer so that you know what you're getting into. Every printer requires educating yourself a bit but the Ender 6 is widely considered to be a "tinkers" printer meaning if you are just a beginner who wants to print and only have to learn the basics don't buy it; this is not for you. Having owned this printer for awhile it seems the people who truly love this printer have spent a lot of time and money upgrading it and are typically using Raspberry Pi controllers with 3rd party software to control it as the stock firmware is terrible. Mine was sent with what seems was the wrong VREF for the extruder which caused all kinds of issues with print failures which support was not able to diagnose - I only found out it was set wrong at the factory when I spent $300 on a direct drive to solve the issue of failed prints. The speeds they promise are only possible with serious upgrades.

Easy to put together, quiet and fast. Printing faster and better than my other 6 printers.

Had a few issues outta the box but it's my first printer so I was learning and once it was up and running it is amazing. The one bad flaw is in the filament spool holder, it's a very bad design, make sure to put some of the packing foam from the box between the spool and the side of the printer. As the filament spool will scrape against the side of the printer. I did not realize this and haver just two prints i have a circle scraped into the plastic side from the filament feeding into the machine.

It's an okay printer. Just I'm not happy as uts noisey similar to dial-up modem. I examined the driver chips to find out only 2 tmc2208 chips on the board. The drivers for z axis and extruder are generic. Also having great difficulties printing in vase mode. Printer acts like very slow graphics card and starts stops and will not print spiraling outer contour.

This Printer is amazing a Fair Price to the Performance. Prints Are coming out rather well, with decent PLA, Prints 3x faster then my Tronxy x5sa with comparable finish product. As a Plus it looks rather nice in my Studio. One Good Knight.

Ender 6 has been a great introduction to 3D printing. Assembly was easy with clear instructions. Added BLtouch to simplify bed-leveling and improve bed adhesion. I had some issues with stringing on my initial prints but after relocating the extruder location and changing the PTFE tubing to Capricorn most of that has been resolved. Print Quality has been very good and high speed printing at 100mm/s to 120mm/s does not degrade quality by much. I've seen many mixed reviews on the Ender 6 but my experience has been positive. If you don't mind a bit of tinkering and like spending some time getting things dialed in then this is a good printer.

The Ender-6 is my 2nd FDM 3D printer. It puts my first to shame. Buying the Creality product was the best hobby decision that I have made in a long time. It is fast (150 mm/sec which cuts HOURS off the slicer's suggested print time). It is accurate. It is a well built, solid printer. However, it is not a perfect machine. I've had a couple of minor issues. With the assistance of the friendly, understanding, technical staff at 3dprintingcanada the glitches were quickly resolved. This printer will significantly alter the approach that I will use in the construction of my model railway. I'm glad that I bought it.
