Great printer out of the box. No need to upgrade components as it prints extremely nicely, fast and quite. Good build size of 400x400x500, I've printed tubes at slants from the bottom corner to the top corner no problem. Got two of these babies running full time. This is an extremely good printer if your not planning on upgrading it. I couldn't tell you about how easy it is to upgrade it as I use them for work, not play. My creality cr10s5 is a pain to upgrade and its made in china so i'm assuming this one would be a bit of a pain also, just because of the time difference. BL touch and magnetic build plate make getting prints started, and prints off simple. Wifi is a great advantage, with web browser monitoring a very good addition. Installed some webcams into the machine and its practically plug and play with the browser. Highly recommend this printer. Roguexperience

Alright, let's start with the pros. The build quality is pretty good, the assembly you need to do when receiving the printer is almost nothing, a couple of things to tighten and tie wraps to remove and that is it. They are even kind enough to give you a set of Allen keys and a screw driver if you needed one. Out of the box by the default the print quality is alright. The core profile they provide needs tweaking, but I am lucky enough to have found a Prusa profile that works pretty well. In all the printer for a beginner is alright, if left like it is. The support from Formbot3D is great, even if not bought directly from them, they answer as fast as they can (they are based in China so, due to time zones they will answer while you are sleeping depending what time zone you are in). They are also really helpful. The cons now. The clone hot end is not that great I recommend switching for a full metal hot end from photos. The documentation for this printer is almost nonexistent, the one you can get or post made by other owners here and there. You can't find the default firmware, documentation on the hardware nothing, not even from the Formbot3D website. You can have access to some of it by contacting them, but it's a bit of a bummer to play ping pong when you are trying to tackle a problem. The cloned board they have been a weird mix between a duet 2 wifi and a duex 2. I wouldn't mind paying extra to get a genuine duet board under there. The main problem that this causes is, when you want to change some settings in the config files, you have to guess which pins do what. There some slight variations to that makes it behave slightly differently than what you would expect It comes with RRF 2 and never received an update from formbot. It is possible to run RRF 3.4 on it, I am doing it, but it was a lot of job to do so when it wasn't suppose to. In all, it's a good printer, but the lack of documentation on the board and the printer itself makes it lot's of trouble to tweak and troubleshoot.
