  • description

Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate also known as ASA filament in the 3D printing world is a UV and weather resistant filament. ASA is an ideal 3D printing filament because it has many properties which make it favorable for printing high-quality prototypes. It is not only chemical resistant, has exceptional strength and rigidity.

ASA has a stable interlayer adhesion and features one of the best aesthetics possible with 3D printing.

The finished product has a high gloss and is thermally stable to higher temperatures. And in fact, a high-temperature bed is necessary when printing with ASA because it helps to ensure a good grip.

The shrinkage of ASA is around the same level as ABS, but the surface of models printed with ASA have a high gloss finish.

Because it has a high UV resistance prototypes made from it can be installed in vehicles, marine or RV industries and for exterior applications such as radiator grill, sensor housing, mirror housing and cowl covers.

It prints like butter on hot toasts .... no issue at all. Love it. Thanks.

The material is actually ASA but is lacking about .5%-1% black masterbatch and is more gray then Black, try using a 70% loading Masterbatch at 1% total or 2% at 50% loading. IF your colorant is carbon for Black... but you make white so I know you most Likely use pigment colorants as you should just put a bit more in please if your already at 2% MB then I suggest another additive-colorant manufacture like colortech ampacet the filament is decent no weird stuff yet If you are looking for BLACK ASA use 3dxtech ASA its actually black
