The Phaetus® neXt G Hotend combines an ultra high flow and rigid kinematic coupling system, delivering optimal performance and high compatibility. Its new ceramic heater and compatibility with V6 nozzles make it a top choice for a range of applications. Plus, because its the same footprint as the dragon hotend, it makes a seamless upgrade option.

 

 

With a new heater and hotend design the neXt G was designed to achieve higher flowrates. Utilizing the ultra-high flow nut adapter, the melt zone can be further extended to achieve maximum printing flowrate of up to 45mm³/s.

 


The kinematic coupling system of the neXt G hotend ensures that your heater block is super rigid, while significantly limiting heater transfer to the heat sink. The rigid structure prevents your heatbreak from bending if the bed levelling fails or if the nozzle scrapes over a warped print. Once handed nozzle changes are possible and, even if the nozzle is tightened too thoroughly, the rigid structure will protect your heatbreak.



A major request on the neXt G hotend was compatibility with the V6 nozzle system. You can now use V6 Nozzles on the neXt G hotend which ensures freedom of choice of nozzles.



The neXt G hotend usese an efficient ceramic heater plate which is more cost effective and easier to maintain than a ceramic ring heater.

 

 

With the same footprint as a Dragon hotend, the neXt G was designed to be compatible with to the big repository of Dragon hotend attachment systems (i.e. Voron, Greality, etc.). With the Groove Mount adaptor, it can also be used on the Prusa MK2 and MK3 printers.
