The Most Economically Priced PLA with Great Results!
Canada's most popular economy-grade PLA filament is back by popular demand. Value PLA is a biodegradable PLA filament finely tuned for your everyday 3d printing needs. Not only is it a cost-effective filament it is made in Europe for superior quality over other lower-end PLA filaments on the market. Value PLA continues to impress even the most critical users with its impeccable quality and ease of use.

This is the first time that I have purchased the value filament. It is a bit of disappointment and difficult to stick in the first layer. Also the feeding is not as smooth as the other brand of value filament.
Shelleen S.
This prints as well if not better than some more expensive filaments.
Works well for statues and busts.
Wade V.
Good results with standard quality prints. Great for prototyping, inexpensive.

Me convient parfaitement

Your product is good however it's too tight on the spool. O have to unwind alot so it can print. Besides that I will buy it again.
Terry C.
The value PLA I purchased from 3d printing Canada, is very poorly wound and tangled on the spool so it constantly snags as the extruder pulls the filament off the spool. Ran a 3d print job yesterday and as the extruder was pulling on the filament it snagged on the spool and snapped and broke right-off. So now in order to use this value PLA requires babysitting the 3d print job constantly unsnagging the filament as it unwinds from the spool. You shouldn't be selling the value PLA to anyone due to this problem. It is annoying and problematic and would love to return it for a refund including shipping costs for all my trouble as a first-time new customer. Once the filament makes past the extruder seems to print ok, its just trying to get the filament off the spool without snagging is a real pain in the butt.

Not sure why this brand absolutely needs 225C and no parts cooling to print, but it does a decent job when dialed in like that.

Grest filament for the price! Can't beat it
Carl S.
Since changing the vendor for the value (White) PLA, I've had nothing but failed prints, all lithophanes. A brief chat with 3Dprinting Canada about this issue I was assured that they would exchange the unused reel for a different one, so they do stand by client satisfaction. The original value PLA was great which I had many successful prints, but not with the new stuff. I have a quarter roll of the new stuff which will go unused due to the poor printing results and testament to the struggle trying to get this to work.

I haven't had this many problems with a filament in a long time, constant failures. The filament was very brittle almost like it was full of moisture. It constantly snapped and was getting stuck in my filament sensor causing prints to fail. First bad experience with 3d printing Canada filaments so I think I'll just avoid this type in the future
Carl S.
As others have stated, this filament is my default for 3D printing just about anything as a hobby 3D printer'er, (I use their PETG too for other more 'robust' works). The occasional inconsistency in diameter will lead to slippage and trashed prints (experienced recently), but overall more than happy with the results and for the price, its a tough one to beat.

I bought this brand for the photo but they are changing brands the photo is yellowish
J'achetai cette marque pour la photo mais ils on changer de marque la photo est jaunâtre

It's smooth but it leaves rements on prints along with long waste

I've tried using the Value PlA filament White, Silver and they do not work. Changed over to different brand and they work great. Cannot use these.
I would like to have a refund on the product White (2) rolls, Red (2) rolls and silver (1) roll

Great filament. Consistent clean prints. Have used it several times and has not let me down.

I run a 3D printing business and make props with thick layers. Do not buy this stuff, quality is bad. Diameter is inconsistent and can be as low as 1.55mm or bulges well over 1.75mm. Under extrusion, skips, clogs on Prusa MK3S+, Craftbot and others. Spend the extra money and don't waste your time trying to work with this. This is the second chance I've given it after a long time. do. not. buy.

Excellent print quality with fast delivery

It printed out pretty good for a generic brand. Can't wait to print more with it. Thanks!
Emmanuel Joseph C.
I bought the black and white, with the white was a little more hard to stick to the bed bad I'm learning. Really a love the price i love the customer service I going to buy again.

Let’s face it! I am poor, well not really, but I am a little cheap. So this is my go-to filament for everyday prints.
I have bought about 10 spools of value PLA and it does the job. No surprises. The white and the grey are quite similar but that is ok. The colours are nice and give good results. I print mainly RPG terrain and board game box inserts. No hesitation in recommending this line of product.
Michael C.
Great filament! I would definitely recommend
Harley K.
Forgot to say this filament is great for lithophanes and for some reason you can see the picture in color in real daylight. Some people can't see the color . My grandaughter's red hair pops right out. You also don't have to change the image to black and white.

I am running with a .2 nozzle on an Crealty Ender3V2 with standard parts and manual be levelling. At nozzle 210C and print speed 35 this value PLA flows and prints the best detail I finally can get on model railroad cars. Bed set at .04 (parchment paper. Wit a .2 nozzle you have to print slow speed to get the flow and detail. There is almost no stringing and blobs.
Kurt B.
This stuff is terrible. I’m running an Anet A8 which I know isn’t the best printer out there, but nothing I do will make this junk stick. Bed range from 0-80, nozzle from 165-210 all with the same results. I’m using painters tape with the purple glue stick for adhesion. I thought PLA was supposed to be easier to print than ABS, but not from what I’ve found. I’m not interested in paying for a brand name which is why I opted for this filament, but I can say with certainty I won’t be purchasing it again. As a matter of fact, if somebody wants to pay shipping, I’m happy to give away the 3/4 roll that I have now given up on. It’s terrible. If I could give it no stars, I would. Just awful.
Shawn C.
for whatever reason the filament had a rough texture to it, I'm not sure if it's just because it's the value brand but it got jammed in my bowden tube, and popped the retaining bolt off of my extruder. the other colours I ordered seem to be fine and have the normal texture one would expect from PLA.
very disappointed, wont be ordering White agian.

I dont usualy write reviews for product I bought cause I'm rarely disapointed...
I tryed everything to get this product working, from drying it 45 celcius for 6 hours to adjusting my 3D printer with over 10 different setings. Higher tempeture to slowing printing speed, to different inlay configurations, to asking some of my more expert friends... I'm clueless on how to make this cheaptastic filament work and it was frustrating. If you made it work on your 3D printer I'm truly happy for you but for most average print worker like myself, it's not worth wasting time on figuring out how to use this filament. I bought the same version in black and I have the same problems. So take it or leave it but it's my personal experience and opinion on that product. Atleast I can use my 3kg for my 3D pen.
Henri C.
Good quality filament.

Great product easy to use consistent results
Kyle E.
In general I have nothing but good things to say about the filaments I have bought from 3D Printing Canada, but this one was awful. It refuses to stick to the build plate and shrinks a lot when cooled. It also seems to really jam up 0.4mm nozzles. I had to ditch my Pei sheet and use hot glue on glass with a 0.8mm nozzle to get it to print nicely. It also appears to have contracted so much that it actually cracked my glass plate in a circle around the part. Ive never seen anything like this before. I purchased 2 spools so I'm hoping this one is just a fluke.

This White Value PLA is excellent. It is a very bright, vibrant white. I had only found one other filament that was this solid of a white colour, even though I have gone through about 5 different brands of white. The bed adhesion for this filament is superb and have not had any trouble with adhesion at all (more reliable than a lot of more expensive filament I have). The printing temperature was standard as well, flow needed to be a little higher than expected (Temp 200, Flow 104%). This filament is not translucent like many others, and is an excellent choice for prints such as lithophanes. Genuinely really recommend this filament, it will be my go-to for white going forward!

Not good for diffusing light, but reasonably structural for other needs

Noted high moisture in product

Fantastique pour le prix. Merci.
David B.
Extremely good filament. Price is right and gives high quality results. Have already gone through the spool and am buying more. Just wish there we more variety in available colours for the same price but either way great filament!

Worked grat did not have to adjust anything . Will be buying again in the future
Andrew L.
Using this warm white PLA for all my prototypes. Excellent print quality.

White value prints fine at 210 nozzle and 60 bed. I will be using a lot of this filament when I'm painting prints.
Daveanand S.
Was printing fine, running another generic white PLA when I switched out spools mid print to this stuff..initially it fed ok at 220, then suddenly started started clogging and under extruding. Sorted it all out, but had to run it at 230 and slow it down to get a good print. On first layer of second print with this stuff I couldn't get adhesion...I think this stuff is PETG or something got mixed up, but it does print ok when you get settings right.

Very easy to print with. Very white. Very impressed with product. My only complaint is the plastic wrapper that was on this and the black roll. Very Thin heat sealed plastic that had holes in it. Had to dry before use.
