Is the AP2 Max suitable for other brands of laser cutters and welders?
Yes, it is suitable if your machine's fume extraction requirement is 700 m³/h or less and its exhaust port diameter is within 60-110mm or 200-250mm. However, the smart features will not function.
Is the AP2 suitable for other brands of laser machines?
The AP2 is designed for machines with a smoke extraction capacity of 150m³/h or lower. If your machine falls within this range, it should work with the AP2. However, you will need to prepare the adapter for the exhaust port yourself.
The product supports a 3-inch exhaust pipe. It's compatible with laser machines, hybrid 3D printers with laser modules, and DTF, 3D printers, as long as their exhaust pipe matches this size.
Why isn't the xTool P3 compatible with the AP2?
The AP2 is designed for machines with a fume extraction of 150 m³/h or less, but the P3’s fume extraction is 238 m³/h. The AP2’s airflow cannot meet this demand. As a result, if you connect a P3 to an AP2 for cutting, there will still be significant smoke and odor.
Can the air outlets be vented directly into the room?
Yes, exhaust air can be discharged directly into the room because our purified exhaust air meets the air quality requirements for direct indoor exhaust.
How often should the cyclone be cleaned?
It’s recommended to clean it every 6 months, but users can adjust this based on actual usage conditions.
